On a day-to-day basis, this role reviews medical documentation and benefit information, assists with prior authorizations and referrals, and coordinates with clinical and non-clinical team members to support appropriate, cost-effective care. The coordinator communicates with members, providers, and payers to clarify coverage, gather required information, and help resolve issues promptly and professionally. This role also tracks cases, updates systems with accurate and timely data, monitors key milestones, and escalates complex situations to clinical staff or leadership when necessary.
