- Market Ownership - Own end-to-end commercial performance of the Ghana market across all payment products
- Revenue Growth - Define and execute go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and transaction volume targets.
- Merchant and Enterprise Sales-Lead acquisition, negotiation, and closing of high-value merchants and enterprise clients.
- Commercial Negotiation-Structure pricing models, SLAs, and commercial terms in collaboration with leadership and finance teams.
- Cross-functional leadership-Act as the commercial bridge between business development, operations, compliance, product, and finance teams.
- Performance Management-Monitor pipelines, merchant performance, and partner volumes; drive corrective actions where required.
- Post mortems and continuous improvement- Own structured post-mortems on lost deals, underperforming merchants, delayed go-lives, and missed targets.
- Market Intelligence- Track competitor activity, regulatory developments, and market trends within the Ghanaian payment ecosystem.
- Team leadership and mentorship- Mentor and guide Business Development Associates; contribute to sales playbooks and best practices.
